Thanks. The white wire actually goes to the same as the green. When connected together the thing works again. Yeah! I love saving $150 with 10 cents of electrical tape!

What you are describing sounds more like one of the conductors is broken, or one of the connectors is failing.

Ben's right. Most likely they will want to repair it as a warranty item. I've had Dolphins and Blue Diamonds repaired (And BD has GREAT service!)
