  1. Tap the corner bead lightly with a hammer to straighten it if is bent and push it back flush with the wall.
  2. Place mesh drywall tape over the edge of the corner bead, covering the cracks between it and the drywall.
  3. Coat the other side of the corner bead and mesh tape with drywall compound. Smooth it flush with the wall and allow it to dry.
  4. Sand both sides, creating a smooth finish flush with the wall. Apply a coat of primer and allow it to dry.
