Step 2: Fitting
The first step is to make sure your glue spreader fits through both holes in the strap of the croc and the croc. My glue stirrer fit, so I didn't need to sand it down to fit through both holes.
Step 3: Cutting
The next step is to mark where you will be cutting the spreader. To do this you simply have to pass it through both holes of the croc and the strap of the croc then mark it a bit further than where it meets the edge of the inside of the croc. Cut the marked part (refer to second picture) then cut off the spreading part (refer to last picture).
Step 4: Making the Inside Circle
To make the circle that is inside the croc, you have to take the glue gun and squeeze it out until it's the same diameter as the piece that usually holds it in. If you don't know the size of the original piece make it around the same size as the circular part of the strap (shown in the last picture)
Step 5: Putting It Together
Now that you have all your pieces, all you have to do is take the hot glue gun and melt a bit of the circle (in the centre)we made previously and add some glue into the indent you've just created. Now put the glue spreader through the holes and glue it to the circle of hot glue.

Do you have to replace crocs if they break?
Real answer here: if you live near a Crocs store, you can try to get them to replace them. Crocs have a "lifetime guarantee" and they technically have to replace them if they break. I used to work at a Crocs and we once replaced a ladies' pair of heels she'd had for years because of a broken strap. From their website:
Step 1: What You Need
Of course you need a worn out set of Crocs (note, this same technique could be applied to other types of shoes, but as always, your mileage may vary.)
Step 2: Let Get Started
Wash those Crocs! They need to be clean to make sure you get a good seal on the glue.
Step 3: Prepare the Tire
Most tires have a metal wire bead that needs to be cut off. Using diagonal cutters or wire snips cut both metal bands.
Step 4: Cut the Strips
Now, cut lengths of the tire to match the shoe of the shoe. You don’t need to get it 100% perfect yet, in fact, you may even want to have a little overhang now. You can trim off any excess later.
Step 5: Warm Up the Crocs
I placed the Crocs and the rubber strips on the radiator. Please be careful if you do this. I kept my radiator low, but if it is too hot, it can melt the shoe and/or cause a fire. This was two fold. One, I wanted to make sure they were dry and warm, to speed up the curing time and to make them more malleable. Huh, I mean three fold.
Step 6: The Hard Part
Grow two more sets of arms and hands! I don’t know how to do it either, but you need it to glue these up. Note, if you have plenty of time, you can do one strip every few hours. This may take longer, but it will allow you to get the best possible seal on each one. I chose to break the shoe into front and back sections.
Step 7: Now Wait
Take a break. Let the glue set up. Now is a good time for a break. BTW, do you know how hard it is to get Guinness in Afghanistan? VERY hard! I really think that if they had it flowing freely here, that peace would come much easier! 8>)
