Hedge shears fiskar pivot pin came out

Wish there was a video showing how to replace the pivot pin on my hedge shears. Lifetime Warranty was honored by sending me replacement pin for the one that fell out. Do I need a machine press?

I cannot seem to close the hedge trimmer again

Evidently there is a burr/dent along one or both of the blades that is causing it not to close all the way. Just take a fine metal hand file and lightly file the area of the dented blade on the bottom of each blade, the sides of the blades that face each other. When you do one blade, just flip the trimmer over and do the other blade the same way.

I just bought a Fiskars
