Upon reading other reviews I think they changed the formula recently, but I seem to have gotten my hands on the old one. It does smell like play dough but the scent will rinse out of your hair and it works great for heat damage and keeping hair healthy.

So I’ve used this hair mask for a couple years now, and every time I try something different, I keep coming back. It helps strengthen it, reduces breakage, fall out, and split ends, and makes my hair so soft. I have 3a-3b hair that is bleached and heat styled regularly, and it keeps it in wonderful condition.

The new formula smells like it has soured and it doesn't condition my hair like the old formula. The new formula is not as thick and it feels like you are skimping on the ingredients to save money. It doesn't live up to your promise.

I cannot shut up about this hair mask, my hair felt so soft and the frizz definitely went down the more I started using this product. It doesn't smell super fancy but the end result definitely makes up for the scent.
