Rush Repair Drone is a consumable item that instantly builds the selected Railjack component or armament, bypassing the repair time and resource cost. Can be earned as a reward at the end of Empyrean missions within the Veil Proxima with a 0.5% drop chance.
Can I still pay to Rush repair drones?
You can still pay to rush Repairs once you’ve contributed resources, but you can no longer outright bypass the entire experience by purchasing the item from the market. We will continue to use Rush Repair Drones as a reward - just not as a Market item.

kinda, but basically still non existant in the game. close to the same drop rate as a legendary core from the sortie, and the use of a legendary core vs. a rush repair drone is night and day. i have never got a legendary core from a sortie, and i would be annoyed if i ever got a repair drone

The resources become trivial like any content island after a bit of playing Railjack anyway. I don't mind either way, but you can swim in resources just doing a bit of the mode. There's only a small handful of items worth repairing and you can skip the low level stuff by helping people do Veil missions on their Railjack.
