
- Prepare Caesarstone Chip Repair area as per PREPARATION details above.
- Remove the repair bottle lid. Be careful as it contains the activating agent to be mixed with the base compound.
- With the supplied mixing stick. Remove compound from bottle. Ensuring enough for the repair.
- Wipe the caesarstone chip repair compound onto the surface near both the edge of the benchtop and about 20mm away from the repair area.
- Clean mixing stick with Stone Power Cleaner and a kitchen towel.
- Remove the milky compound from under the lid. A ratio of 3-5% of this compound to the Caesarstone chip repair compound.
- Mix both compounds together until thoroughly mixed. Approximately 60 seconds.
- Apply mixed compound to the Caesarstone chip repair area making sure to wipe in FROM the EDGE.
- Ensure the Caesarstone chip repair area is “just full” allowing enough mixed compound to be raised slightly.
- Smooth slightly with the Razor supplied making sure you keep the edge parallel to the surface. Always working FROM the EDGE inwards.
- Smooth until slightly proud. Leaving enough extra Caesarstone chip repair compound to be leveled out one dried.
- Wipe razor clean with Stone Power Cleaner and a kitchen towel, being careful of the very sharp edge.
- Wait 2o min approximate until cured and bonded correctly. Temperature and humidity may extend this time. The Caesarstone chip repair should be extremely hard to touch with no tackiness.
