My Repair & Advice

I used your online troubleshooting tips and watched the videos on your site. I determined my thermostat was defective, ordered the thermostat which arrived in two days and I replaced the thermostat and I now have a full bin of ice !!! The do it yourself video was extremely helpful and made the repair very easy.

My Repair & Advice

SO I FIGURED THAT ALL THE MECHANICAL PARTS OF IT WERE FINE SO THE LOGICAL THING TO DO WAS TO REPLACE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS WHICH CONSISTED OF THE THERMOSTAT {THE BRAIN} AND THE CONTROL MODULE WHICH I PURCHASED AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE . I REASSEMBLED THE UNIT AND IT HAS BEEN WORKING LIKE NEW EVER SINCE. THANK YOU!

My Repair & Advice

It was a relatively easy fix and the video instructions on this site provided were helpful. The one piece that wasn't clear is the alumilastic was already on the replacement part so a separate tube is not required. That wasn't clear on the video and was an unneeded expense.
